New Swordspoint Reading at BBB

On January 20th, Ellen joined the line-up at Brooklyn Books & Booze, a monthly reading organized by Randee Dawn and held at Barrow’s Intense NY Tasting Room in Brooklyn, NY.

Ellen was joined by fellow authors Caitlin Rozakis, Michael Swanwick, and Amanda Cockrell. Randee Dawn is pictured with the group above on the far right.

Ellen read from City Year (working title for the next Swordspoint book) before engaging in a little friendly swordplay.

Barrow's Intense also crafted the "Down by the Riverside" drink for the occasion, being a cocktail containing bourbon, cherry liqueur, Barrow's Intense cocoa mix, oat milk, and a little plastic sword.
